Our program is different, with over 15 years teaching. At Mass. CSL Training Group, you get personalized attention and detailed one-on-one coaching with David A. Johnson, Sr., CBO a ICC certified building code professional, former edcuator with
45 + years experience in the Boston construction industry. Our team are building inspectors and planners with over 30 years of experience in the industry.
To help you clearly understand how to navigate the code books, and tab your books. We are people friendly and do not judge. We have great success offering materials in other languages upon request: Spanish, Vietnamese, Portuguese and many others.

Build 1 or 2 family homes, rebabs, alterations, repairs, and demolitions:
Less than 35,000 cubic feet,1- and 2-family dwellings, or accessory buildings, walls less than 10 ft. and commercial interior rehab. Building use for farms.
Schedule Sessions / Duration
Tuesdays or Thursdays, starting sessions at
5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. You can start anytime, just one week notice of interest.
Meeting once a week for 5 weeks. In-person.
Close on Boston area snow emergency or school closings. (Because we care)
Books, and Materials
We providing all required #8 ICC and State code books and complete PSI agency package and practice Quizzes and homework. We also provide important hand outs to keep you update on new codes changes for free. Once a student always a student.

CSL CONTINUING-EDU CLASSES
STARTING APRIL, 2026
Mass CSL Training Group is excited to announce that our Massachusetts CSL Continuing Education classes will begin on April 22nd and 25th. Classes will be held in person, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with 6 hours of instruction each day.
What makes our program different is our commitment to a more personal learning experience. We intentionally keep our class sizes small so every student gets the attention, clarity, and support they deserve. We’re not focused on filling seats — we’re focused on teaching. Our goal is for every student to walk away with a solid understanding of the latest building code updates and OSHA safety information they can immediately apply in the field.
