Mass. CSL Training Group is the only training group that preps students one-on-one in Massachusetts for the Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License Exam. Common student responses to large class room settings include: "they are too big to deal with simple questions," and "other instructors get lost in other subjects not related to the class, so we lose valuable time."
Most other providers are not as detailed and direct as Mass. CSL Training Group. David A. Johnson, Founder and Director, has 40 years of experience in the construction industry, studying at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. Mr. Johnson started his first construction company at the age of 19, rehabbing kitchens and bathrooms, then moving onto home remodeling. He later built more than 100 homes in the Metro area. To his credit, Mr. Johnson has held a number of positions, such as project superintendent, project manager, project engineer and currently Chief Building Inspector.
Mr. Johnson has a passion for helping others reach their goals in life. He recognized a need for personalized, effective CSL training within a comfortable and productive atmosphere, which drove him to create the one-on-one training courses for CSL in Urban Boston.

CSL Training

The 1 on 1 Class

Each personalized one-on-one session meets once a week for seven weeks for a total of 24 hours. We spend that time reviewing test questions, creating strategies and going over general inspection knowledge.

Books & Materials

When you register for the class, you pre-pay for a set of books and receive five of them at the start of the first class. Full payment or scheduled payments required at the start of class. You will be provided with a full package at orientation.

Homework

Homework will be assigned and reviewed during each session. Generally, you will spend an hour and a half per day and three hours on weekends doing homework, reviewing materials and preparing for the test.

CSL Exam

Mass. CSL Training Group doesn't just prep you for the test subject matter, we also teach you how to take the test. You will gain the knowledge and understanding that you will need to pass the test.

One on One Program

CSL Training Course

We have developed a powerful one-on-one tutoring and educational program to meet the needs of each and every student on a personal level. From the start, we offer a complete material package that addresses the test center, Prometric registration, support approval process, information related to Mass. HIC, Mass. Amendment(s), 2105 IECC, OSHA, and homework that supports the students' efforts to pass the test on their first try.
We also provide materials in other language(s) to better understand the handout materials upon request. Additionally, we offer personalized group tutoring classes, available for companies on-the-go in most cities and towns.
